2010 Bb. Pilipinas Universe Maria Venus Raj was stripped off her crown last March 29 due to the irregularities of her birth information, Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) issued in her official statement.
"Today, March 29, 2010, Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI), decided, with a heavy heart to let Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2010 Ma. Venus Raj go, after the organization discovered inconsistencies contained in her birth records, in contrast to her personal accounts of her brith."
Helen Nicolette Henson, 2nd Runner-up, will assume the title and compete in the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant.
1st Runner-Up Dianne Necio will not be able to take on the crown as she is underaged for Miss Universe (she is 17 years old).
